What activity, task, or game most brings out your competitive streak?

Another potentially identifying question…I feel most competitive when playing video games. It has been awhile since I’ve had a person to play them with so I sort of compete against myself to beat levels, etc. I think lately, however, I’ve been hearing from God to stop video games. I fight with Him (hopefully Him not the perps) that I need the relaxation of the games but I can see most of them look inherently evil/paganistic/occult. I try and play the most bland games there are but STILL I hear a message to stop. What to do?

    • I want to think so, but I visited a web page where an evangelist described how his friend got addicted to vid games and became a Satanist. The demons told him that ALL vid games are meant to destroy the soul. The evangelist who wrote the article even said like video CHESS could destroy you. He is also following another evangelist (name escapes me.) that is considered extreme by others. I do not play violent or occultic games which involve magic or occultic objects during gameplay (watch out for innocent looking hidden object games) so I don’t know why I felt God talking to me one morning telling to quit the games. I only play one vid game now–a very harmless one.

    • I agree. Once you become a Christian you are not your own however. It’s been torture trying to decipher what “messages” I get in my mind are God and what are perp.

    • God is very just, and He knows how hard it is to walk on the “narrow path”. Doing it while a target it almost impossible.
